Board responsibilities:

The La Conner Regional Library Board represents the taxpayers of the library district. They are responsible for the overall management of the library through the Library Director, and are responsible for library policy & procedures.

The board works with governing officials of Skagit County to remain fiscally responsible.

Library Board of Trustees:

All Board positions are service-oriented, voluntary positions. The term of office is five years, and two consecutive terms may be served. Current board members with position assignments are in the table below.

Meeting Dates - The meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month, from 5 p.m to approximately 7 p.m. at the library. The dates run in the local newspaper as do special meetings and any changes to the usual scheduled meeting times/places. The public is invited to attend.
