Ocean’s of Fun! Summer Reading Program at La Conner Regional Library 

June -August 2022

 

La Conner Regional Library’s Summer Reading Program has officially started. The theme is Oceans of Fun!  Readers under 18 years old are welcome to sign up.  Go to lclib.lib.wa.us to register. A reading packet will be sent. You can also come into the library to sign up and pick up the reading packet in person. 

Activities begin now!

 Saturday, June 11 at 12:30 we’ll be making fish scales for the Rainbow Fish that will be in the 4th of July Parade (in which you are free to participate).

Make Snot session, Saturday, June 18, 12:30. Does snot help ocean life?

Kelp Forest and Sea Urchins, Monday June 27, 1:00 – 2:30.  Make a sea urchin or sea star!

March in 4th of July parade. Look for us and the Rainbow Parrotfish at the La Conner Yacht Club parking lot. 11:30.

A Whale at Scale, Saturday, July 9, 12:30 – 2:00  Help draw a life-size whale.

Watercolor Salt Painting, Saturday July 16, 12:30 – 2:00  A House for Hermit Crab
