Friends of the La Conner Library

Friends of the Library began in 1988 to help provide funding for library materials and needs. There are currently over 90 members. We encourage all La Conner Library District residents who support our library to join us. Annual dues are $10.00. A lifetime membership is $50.00. Mail your dues to the Membership chair listed below.

New members are always welcome and our meetings are open to guests and interested people. A monthly newsletter is sent to members giving them information regarding the latest fundraiser plus our interesting program of that month.

Book Nook: The Book Nook is sponsored by the Friends, and is open Monday through Saturday, from 1-4 p.m. in the front of the library. We welcome your donations of gently books to the Book Nook. All proceeds go to support the library and its programs.

Meetings: Meetings are held the third Monday of the month (Sept. - May) at the Retirement Inn, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a social time at 9 a.m.
